What is PitWorX?
PitWorX is the fleet maintenance management application within Fleet Unify. It brings the AI Pit Crew, work orders, preventive maintenance, vehicle health, inspections, shop dispatch, service history, and maintenance analytics into one operating environment.
What is the AI Pit Crew?
The AI Pit Crew is the AI agent inside PitWorX. It reviews vehicle faults, identifies the most likely failing part for that specific vehicle, explains the problem in plain language, rates the urgency, opens the service request, and queues the repair task for your team.
Who uses PitWorX?
PitWorX supports maintenance managers, fleet operations teams, shop coordinators, and approvers responsible for repair activity across a vehicle fleet. Drivers complete assigned inspections through the Field App.
Does the AI Pit Crew replace my technicians or managers?
No. It does the triage and the paperwork so your people can focus on decisions and repairs. Your team still assigns work, approves quotes and invoices, and signs off on completed service.
How do I know I can trust an AI diagnosis?
Every diagnosis shows its confidence and the sources behind it. When confidence is low, the task is flagged for review before work begins, so a person always confirms the diagnosis and repair code first.
Which faults does the AI Pit Crew handle?
It works on diagnostic trouble codes reported by the vehicles in your fleet. Automation rules you control decide which faults it picks up, so you can start with the faults that matter most.
Do external shops need a Fleet Unify login?
No. External shops receive a secure dispatch link that allows them to acknowledge work, submit quotes, provide status updates, and send invoices.
Can PitWorX open work from telematics faults?
Yes. Vehicle health presents telematics faults alongside reported issues. When configured, the AI Pit Crew and workflow automation can create maintenance issues, service requests, or work orders from diagnostic events.
How does preventive maintenance work?
Teams define service programs with schedules and tasks, assign vehicles, and monitor compliance from the PM view. Overdue and due-soon assets are visible so maintenance can be planned before a missed interval affects operations.
Is PitWorX only for fleets?
PitWorX is designed for organizations that maintain vehicles and equipment represented as assets in Fleet Unify, including commercial fleets, service operations, and mixed shop networks.
How do we get started?
Request a demo and share your fleet size, shop operating model, and current maintenance systems. The PitWorX team will demonstrate how the application supports your work order and preventive maintenance processes within Fleet Unify.
